Well now I enjoy the freedom that self catering chalets provide. The luxury chalet is invariably outstanding and rather than the uninspired cooking in catered chalet I can prepare a delicious dinner.

The thought of a South African safari might probably stir up the emotions of amazement and the location of stunning Africa. African safaris have been well accepted in Africa for years and have become famous with the Scottish holiday tourists cause of the lovely weather and the terrific wildlife that will be explored.
The greatest time to visit Zambia for a wonderful safari is around December as the weather is breathtaking. The number of Irish tourists who travel over to Zambia for a walking safari has risen in the last 9 years due to the strong pound and also due to the increased attention of South Africa. That is why walking safaris in South Africa will often be perfect for a honeymoon. South Africa has some of the very best privately owned lodges and safaris in the world and should be experienced by all at least once.

The most important thing to factor into anything related to booking a place at an airport parking facility, be it a really busy place like the Heathrow airport parking facilities, or the not so (relatively) busy places like Liverpool airport parking, is time. If you don’t factor in the exact time of your arrival, departure and time away, then booking a slot at an airport parking place can be pretty difficult. It’s not as hard as it sounds, all you have to do is know when you’re arriving at the car park, how long you’re away, and when you’re going to leave. But one thing you really do have to be careful about is making sure that you give yourself enough time to get to and from the car park so that you don’t miss your plane. Find out how far the terminal is away from the car parking centre and book accordingly, so then you should leave yourself with enough time to be able to make it to the plane on time. Also, when you come back, make sure you’ve booked a good leaving time that’s suitable for you, because if you stay in the car park too long, you might be liable for additional charges because you’re staying longer than you should, which is similar to what happens in normal pay to park car parks anyway, so it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.

Boston, MA is one of the great cities in America. And while
there are a number of decent tours people can choose from
while visiting Boston, most of them don’t go much beyond
Quincy Market and the Freedom Trail. In this feature written
by the founder of Boston’s Hidden Restaurants and Travel
Guide of America, you will learn about the entire city of
Boston, from Fenway Park to Hyde Park.
Boston, at its heart, is a city of neighborhoods. And many of
these sections of Boston have a lot to offer the visitor. While
the virtual tour of Boston is going to begin in familiar
surroundings, you will soon learn about these great
neighborhoods that are often overlooked by tourists.
Let’s start downtown, where you have the
historic Boston Common, Quincy Market, Fanueil Hall, and
much more. This bustling area is where most visitors come.
If you go northeast a few blocks, you end up in the
North End, an old Italian neighborhood
with narrow streets and great restaurants. From here, you
can take the tunnel to East Boston, a
close-knit working-class neighborhood that also has a
strong Italian influence, though it also has a large Brazilian
population now, too.
From East Boston, cut back through the tunnel and head
north to Charlestown, a charming old
neighborhood with quaint row houses lining steep hills.
From Charlestown, go back through downtown, heading
west through Beacon Hill, a tree-shaded
old-money neighborhood, and both the South
End and Back Bay, two exciting,
trendy parts of Boston, and go past The
Fens, where Fenway Park, home of the Boston
Red Sox, is located. You soon arrive in
Allston and Brighton,
two parts of Boston populated by college students. These
funky areas are filled with restaurants, bars, and shops.
From Allston, head south, eventually ending up in
Jamaica Plain, one of the funkiest Boston
neighborhoods. Jamaica Plain is filled with ma-and-pa
shops and has some of the most beautiful architecture in
Boston. From here, move southwest into
Roslindale and West
Roxbury, two mostly middle-class sections of
Boston that are mostly residential, though Roslindale is
becoming known for its terrific restaurants, too. East of here
is Hyde Park, a quiet part of Boston that
hasn’t changed much over the years and feels more like a
suburban town.
If you continue east from Hyde Park, you reach
Roxbury and Mattapan,
sprawling neighborhoods that are undergoing a lot of
renovation and beautification. This close-knit part of Boston
has some great parks and wonderful old Victorian houses.
Continuing further east, you arrive in
Dorchester, a huge neighborhood that is
mostly working class. Black, Irish, and Vietnamese
neighborhoods make up most of Dorchester, but young
professionals are also discovering its beautiful homes and
old-time charm. From Dorchester, continue northeast into
South Boston, where Boston’s Irish
families have lived for more than a century. Southie has
great beaches, steep hills, and amazing views of downtown.
And it is a neighborhood that takes pride in its
independence and uniqueness.
From South Boston, it is an easy drive back into downtown
Boston, stopping by bustling Chinatown
and the charming, quiet Bay Village along
the way. There is much more to Boston than was covered in

Windsor Castle is alleged to be the largest occupied castles around & the oldest in continuous inhabitation (about nine hundred years). It’s 1 of the Queen’s three authorised homes, & is over and over again understood to be her most desired home. The Royal colours soars above the Round Tower of Windsor Castle at whatever time Queen Elizabeth 2nd is in residence - however, at other periods, the Union Jack banner soars instead.
Samuel Pepys stated the Castle to be “the single most loving castle around.” That was believed in 1666, & the equivalent has been said today.
Windsor Castle Stirring History:
The erection of Windsor can be found in the 7th century Saxon hamlet of Windlesora, where the modern day community of Old Windsor is sited. The town of Windsor is more accurately identified as the “New Windsor” - the word “new” being referenced in a strictly loose way!
Windsor Castle was at the beginning put together by William the Conqueror, owing to his invasion of England in ten sixty six. The original frame was built from wood with sol walls. The Castle held a comprehensible tactical position on a steep hill overlooking the River Thames, and was part of a band of palaces in the region London, with the Tower of London, one day’s hike away, at its middle. The Palace was later on rebuilt in rock, & increased in significance over the years. More recently Henry II erected the Round Tower and the original stone outer wall. After the English Civil War, the Castle’s prime role became that of a royal house. Windsor Castle has stayed almost completely unaffected since the beginning of the 19th century, apart from the overhaul job following the horribly fire in 1992.

As we ready ourselves to celebrate yet another Christmas to honor the birth of our Lord Jesus let us remember that this is a time to focus on the many blessings in our lives. Each day should be a day to focus on these things we hold dear that the Lord has brought to us but Christmas time is especially good for bringing these things that we should always notice to the forefront of our minds and our thoughts.
Christmas time is about giving and not only in the way of handing out material presents to one another that we purchase from the many stores we have to choose from but it’s mainly a time of giving the most important things like an ear to someone who needs to be listened to or a coat for a small child who is need of one. Handing out and giving can be done best by giving someone a smile when they are feeling down or encouragement to get past the gloom they might feel in order to stand tall and move onward with joy.
Christmas time giving can mean giving a home to a small animal that otherwise would be alone and cold and miserable out in the elements with nobody to care for them. All these things make a difference in the world and they might not individually heal all that needs to be healed but each offering of kindness furthers the cause of bringing true love and peace to a world badly in need of these things.
A few material gifts are fine and are especially welcome from the children who wait for old Saint Nick to come and spread his joy to the children but among the joy of the material should also be a lesson that the best and most important gifts come from inside and are given from the heart and soul from one human being to another.
I feel that even as we watch the nightly news that tells us of the many sad and evil things of this world that goodness overcomes and goodness makes up the majority of the people of this world.
As the three wisemen were guided by the star of Bethlehem to the manger to witness the miracle of the birth of Jesus let’s also use that same light that shines in us from Jesus to guide our hearts to do good deeds and make another human being feel special and cared for in the most important ways by the power of love and mercy.
Let the lesson of Jesus being turned away from the Inn inspire us not to turn away from someone or something that may be in need of our help and our light to shine on them. The power of the human spirit and the human heart can work wonders and the pureness of a kind act can turn wrong into right.
This holiday season let that same pureness flow from within your heart and into anothers and let’s make Jesus proud to be our Father and our Lord by our actions that are inspired by his love for us.
May you and your family have a very blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year and may the light of the lord always shine upon you and carry you in your time of need.

Europe has always been a popular travel destination. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or planning your first trip, there are several important things to keep in mind before calling your travel agent and booking your next vacation:
1. Time of year: While “Paris in the Springtime” sounds very romantic, the truth is that you’re liable to spend many days indoors, because the weather can be cold and rainy. On the other hand, the French Riviera in the springtime boasts warm temperatures, sunshine and beautiful places to visit. If you’re not sure of weather patterns, check with your travel agent who can advise you on rainy seasons or other weather-related issues for traveling to a specific spot.
2. Your Budget: Decide how much you’ve got to spend, and don’t forget to include extras like tourist attractions, getting around, souvenirs and meals (which are typically more expensive in Europe than in the states — dinner can cost upwards of 50 Euros per person, especially in metropolitan cities). If your budget is smaller, consider visiting Eastern Europe, looking for packaged tours, or, if you’re flexible, book a “last-minute” trip, which can often save you 30% or more. Check out the current exchange rate between your currency and that of the country you’ll be visiting, to have a better idea of what your vacation is going to actually cost you. Whenever possible, travel during an off-peak season to save even more.
3. Your secret dreams or “someday” wishes: For most of us, taking a vacation is something we get to do only once a year, and often plan and save the whole year for. So if you have always wanted to visit somewhere or do something special — why wait? Include it in your next vacation plans.
4. Political Climate: While most countries that rely on tourism make every effort to ensure the safety of tourists, these days it’s always a good idea to keep up on the current political climate of the country you’re planning to visit, especially if there have been problems in the past.
5. Your own “internal clock”: If you prefer sleeping in in the mornings, and “doing your own thing” then a guided tour is probably not for you. Most guided tours start early in the morning, and you’re on the go until evening. You may visit several cities in a country or countries within a specified amount of time, and you’re required to stay with the group.
On the other hand, if you don’t like traveling alone, you enjoy the companionship of others and getting to see as much as possible in the time you’ve got, a guided tour or cruise may be just the thing for you.
6. How you like to spend your time: Take a little time to think about what you like doing before planning your trip. Do you prefer the water, or the mountains? Lying on the beach, or rock-climbing? Adrenaline rushes or visiting an art museum?
While going outside your comfort zone and trying new things can be a great experience, spending your time doing something that bores you silly or makes you uncomfortable and unhappy just doesn’t make sense. Once you know what you want to do, figure out what you’ll have time to do. Many times, in an effort to get the “most bang for our buck” we tend to over plan the vacation, and end up needing a vacation from the vacation when we get home! Prioritize your list, and be willing to save some activities or attractions for another trip.
7. Use the resources that are available to make your trip special and save money: Today’s travelers have numerous options when planning their vacation. You can use the Internet to find out more about the cities or countries you want to visit, check out prices, even book your flight or hotel room. If you’re visiting a place for the first time, check with a travel agent, talk to someone who’s “been there, done that” on an Internet Forum, or contact local chambers or commerce or travel councils to get more information about where to go, what to see and what to do.
8. Get organized: You can use trip-planning software, or your own favorite organizing system to organize and plan your trip. Don’t forget things like making sure your passport and picture ID are up-to-date, finding out if travel insurance is something you need, and how and where to exchange your money. The more organized you are in the beginning, the better vacation you’ll have.
9. Pack lightly: Most of us take too much on a vacation, and end up lugging heavy suitcases and other bags along filled with items that we either don’t use or don’t need. When planning your trip, look at your wardrobe and pack as lightly as you can. Take only what you’ll really need, and remember that if you forget or end up needing something, chances are you can get it once you reach your destination.
10. Have fun! Get organized, make your plans and expect the best. That way, once you’re on your way, you’ll be able to relax and enjoy yourself. But remember, there are very few “perfect” vacations, so if something does go wrong, try to relax and “go with the flow” as much as possible. Experienced travelers say that sometimes their best vacations have been the ones where the unexpected happened.
